INFOhio News

INFOhio, the Information Network For Ohio Schools, is a statewide cooperative project created to electronically link Ohio students, teachers, library/media specialists and others via computer to school libraries throughout the state. In addition, INFOhio provides library automation software to replace existing library catalogs and enhance the circulation of library materials using uniform cataloging techniques. Electronic databases with essential online reference and research tools such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazine articles, biographies, and more is also provided by INFOhio. INFOhio's Core Collection of Electronic Resources is available for all Ohio K-12 teachers, students and their parents.

Kids Kitchen Reading Club is a program to encourage the love of reading and help add new books to our school library by collecting the lids to qualifying Hormel microwave meals. You can help by saving the lids and sending them in to school.

Since the Buckeye Book Award's beginning in 1981, children all over Ohio have nominated for their favorites and then voted on that roster in the following year. To date, there have been a total of 39 winners by many well known authors

Caldecott Medal

Established in 1938. A medal presented annually to the illustrator of the most distinguished American picture book for children published in the United States in the preceding year. The recipient must be a citizen or resident of the United States.
