All Saints Online Catalog (CAT/CAT JR)

The things I like most about being the Librarian at All Saints are the diversity of my job and the smiling faces of the children. I enjoy the opportunity to share my love of books and reading with all of our students, and it is wonderful to work in a school that teaches the values of the Catholic faith in every aspect of school life.

I was very excited when we accomplished our goal of automating our library catalog in 2006, as we continue to provide our students with the technology they will need in the future. I love working with 2nd grade and middle grade students in small groups doing Enrichment projects and helping the Junior High students to be information literate and independent learners with Study Skills classes. The Junior High Book Club was started two years ago, which gives students an opportunity to read and discuss books outside of class.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Business and the University of Maine with a BS in Library and Information Technology. Working in the library at All Saints since 1989 has challenged me every day to keep up not only with good literature but also with the technology that keeps us moving forward.

My husband is retired from the Cleveland Police Department, and we have 3 daughters who graduated from All Saints and Lake Catholic. We like spending our summer with family in Florida or visiting our “rolling stone” daughter. We also have a wedding in the future. I am passionate about being “green,” and I love walking and jogging in the woods. My favorite hometown teams are the Browns and Cavs. And, of course, I love to read!
