I went to Bowling Green State University where I received a B.S. in education.
My first teaching job was in third grade for Cleveland Public Schools.
I taught there for three years, and met and married my husband, Joe, who
also taught for Cleveland. We have three grown daughters of which one
is married.
I have continued my education by taking courses through Lake Erie College,
Ashland University, Lake Farmpark, and continuous education classes in
math, reading, religion, and computers.
I have enjoyed my 24 years at All Saints School teaching second grade.
I love preparing the students for the two sacraments of Reconciliation
and Eucharist. It’s very rewarding seeing the children grow in their
relationship with Jesus. My favorite subject to teach is Math.
My favorite activities when I’m not at school are reading, walking
at parks, swimming, and spending time with my family in Cleveland and
in Columbus. I have a special affection for my two pets, our cat Maggie
Mae, and our apricot poodle, Penny Lane. My favorite vacation is a cruise
and stopping at an island resort to swim, shop, and read!
