I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Bernadette Maschak. I teach fourth grade. What a wonderful age to teach. Fourth graders are so curious and eager to learn and have wonderful imaginations.
This is my 27th year of teaching. I have previously taught at St. Anthony of Padua in Parma and St. Barnabas in Northfield and now at All Saints, teaching fourth grade.
I enjoy whole curriculum teaching. Language Arts is a favorite along with Art. I enjoy the challenges of teaching reading and writing skills. Ohio history is also a wonderful subject to teach. From early Ohio to statehood to Ohio today, we explore the Buckeye State. Fourth grade religion is special with the teaching of the commandments and the Beatitudes.
My personal interests include my “Green Thumb” gardening and landscaping, travel, baseball and exercising. My tennis shoes, mountain bike and flowerpots are quite dear friends of mine.
I am very happy to be working at All Saints school helping to fulfill All Saints Mission Statement: School and Family working together to promote spiritual growth, lifelong learning, responsibility and respect for all.
Learning is a journey, class is always in session, and lasts a lifetime.
