I am a Benedictine Sister from Mount Saint Benedict Monastery in Erie, Pennsylvania, and have been teaching at All Saints School since 1984. Originally I am from Sharon, Pa. where I attended Saint Joseph Elementary School staffed by the Benedictine Sisters. I graduated from Sharon High School, and shortly after became a member of the Order of Saint Benedict in Erie, Pennsylvania.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Marillac College in Saints Louis, Missouri, and my Masters of Science in Education degree from the University of Dayton.
My teaching ministry has taken me to various schools in the Erie Diocese - Saint Joseph, Oil City; Saint Mary, Erie; Saint Gregory, North East; Saint Michael, Fryburg, and Sacred Heart, Sharon where I was administrator for 19 years.
Currently, I am Assistant Principal and Religion Coordinator at All Saints School. I teach sixth, seventh and eighth grade Religion daily and plan liturgies and other religious activities. I also meet with other classes - grades 1 to 5, once a week to teach Religion and prepare for liturgies.
My many years of experience attest to the fact that I enjoy teaching children and seeing them grow in wisdom, age and grace. I believe that students who use their common sense and good judgment will be successful. I try to instill the fact that Religion is not something in a book. It is LIVED!
In my free time, I enjoy traveling to see my family, reading, listening to music and watching sports.
